About

Hi Food Dreamers, I'm Matt Lillibridge

After 30 years working in restaurants, I left to pursue a career in School Nutrition. Five years of managing three kitchens, feeding 600 kids a day taught me a lot. I’d hoped that dedicating myself to feeding kids would feed my need to do more, but then I felt I had to pursue a decade long dream found our Nonprofit.

At that point I naively assumed it would be easy, only to find there was no commercial kitchens to lease in Springfield for me to test my idea. I was able to test my idea in my work kitchens, but I still lacked the capacity of storage and production to pursue my mission full time.

HAD to found this kitchen, since none existed. Realizing that if I wasn’t able to pursue my dream, perhaps you weren’t either. My hope it that this Kitchen will be a place where you can pursue your dreams, test your ideas and build your business. Together we are able to do more than we could do individually. Welcome to my kitchen, welcome to the dream.
